The Cold Spring Springers
Residents of the ROCORI area have undoubtedly heard of the Cold Spring Springers. The Springers serve as Cold Spring’s Section 1B amateur baseball team in Minnesota. You can catch the Springers in action, playing against other amateur teams on the field at Cold Spring Baseball Park.
The Springers have a rich history, filled with legendary games and several inductees into the Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. Fans remember the Springer’s run in 2020 Minnesota Class B State Tournament—where they secured third place. But fans have been cheering for almost a century, watching this amateur team acquire 23 top-three finishes at state tournaments in a record 58 appearances.
How the Cages Will Support the Springers
The Cold Spring Cages is a part of a renewed effort to support baseball and softball for the ROCORI area. Our facility will allow the Springers to commit more hours to practice, especially in winter when facilities are at full capacity. Time at the Cages will allow more opportunities for athletes to hone their skills and perfect their game. But the Springers aren’t the only group who can benefit from this facility.
Our facility will be open to everyone, including other amateur teams, schools, and Springer fans. The Cages provides a wonderful recreational experience for anyone with a love for baseball, softball, and any other sport requiring indoor facilities. Your donation won’t just impact the Springers but will also grant more opportunities for citizens in the ROCORI area.
